Are You Afraid of Falling? 🌿

Well, think again.

Remember when you had to learn to walk? Probably not. But here's what I've noticed and remembered when seeing my kids learn to walk.

When my daughter Ella was almost one, she tried to walk. She stood up, wobbled, took a step — and fell. Then she got back up. And fell again.

That’s how we all learned to walk. Or to ride a bike.

Not by reading about balance, not by waiting until we felt “ready,” but by falling and learning through the fall.

Falling isn’t failure.

Failure is not trying.

Failure is postponing until we feel “ready.”

But here’s the truth: ready isn’t a status.

It’s something you become while you’re doing.

And if we zoom out: life itself isn’t a rehearsal. We’re all going to die one day. That’s the only guarantee.

So why keep waiting? Why keep collecting information and postponing action as if there will always be another chance?

This is your life. It’s happening now.

Falling means you’re in motion.

Failing means you’re standing still.

So what’s one step you’re postponing because you’re afraid of falling?

And what would it look like to take it anyway?

PS: Yes, that’s my daughter Ella in the video — almost one, learning to walk, falling, laughing. Falling isn’t failure. It’s growth. 🌱
